Instructions: 1). Register on-line 2). Print and sign the on-line waiver 3). Mail the waiver and payment to NKYVC P.O. Box 188071 Erlanger KY 41018.

10U AIT (no-tryouts) applicant acceptance is based on postmark receipt of the waiver and payment NOT date of on-line registration. If the program fills a waiting list will be created and you will be notified if you are on the waiting list.

Group limit will be determined by court and staff availability. When registration is closed, all additional forms and registration fees will be sent back to those who were not accepted. Registration confirmation or non-acceptance will be sent as soon as possible.

About the USAV 10U Developmental Program.....NKYVC’s 10U developmental program is now in its 8th year. NKYVC develops some of the Ohio Valley Region’s strongest teams at the 10U level, including OVR Champions in 2006 and 2 teams in the top 5 in 2008. The 10U program introduces players and parents to Club Volleyball, USAV competition formats and focuses on proper, fundamental technique training in a nurturing & competitive environment.

There are two programs that are offered by NKYVC for the 10U Age Division: They are USAV Travel Teams and Athletes in Training (AIT Non-Travel).

USAV TRAVEL TEAM: We will be fielding an A team (Tsunami) and a B team (Tide). The 2 teams are skill divided and will each have approximately 9 players.The USAV Teams register with USA volleyball and play in USAV sanctioned tournaments, which makes them what we call a travel team. Most tournaments are finished in one day and last from 8 a.m. to about 6 p.m. The teams will play approximately 4-6 matches per tournament. The tournaments usually do not require overnight stay; however, that may change based on tournament availability for this age group. These teams will participate in four tournaments concluding their season at the Ohio Valley Regionals held iin Columbus, OH.

ATHLETES IN TRAINING (AIT) (There are NO TRY-OUTS for AIT everyone can participate by simply registering and reserving your space): The AIT receives the same training as the USAV Teams team but do not register or travel for competitions. Because of this, the fees for AIT are less than the USAV Club Teams. The AIT will practice twice a week for an hour and a half but do not play tournaments or receive uniforms. The AIT Lead Coach Jill Flood will be assisted by area high school and grade school coaches. The AIT program practices separate from the USAV program however the training methods used are consistent with the USAV Travel Teams.

The reason for the 2 divisions (USAV and AIT) is simple-not all 9 & 10 year olds are ready for USAV competition but some athletes are VERY ready so we want to address both situations with great training as all the athletes develop.
