BAYLEE JOHNSON #28 On the PrepVolleyball Senior Aces:  

One of the most physical hitter-setters in this class, Johnson is a tenacious competitor who knows how to take control of a game. There’s only one way to stop someone like Johnson: you’d pretty much have to drive a stake through her heart. No deficit is too large to overcome for her fight-to-the-death spirit. Johnson approaches the game with an academic mind. Very smart on the court, Johnson’s collegiate choice is as much for her sport as it is for her education. An MVP at her high school, in her conference, and in her district, Johnson has proven her prowess on the court with a lethal jump serve and a physical presence that makes her a blocking asset. Committed to USC, Johnson can hit from the front row and set out of the back row with equal effectiveness. She brings a sharpened set location and accuracy to the court that will remind people of a cross between Toni Anderson and April Ross.

Ashley Bush #74 on the PrepVolleyball Senior Aces: 

A very good athlete, Bush is one of the most versatile players in the Midwest, as she is competent in all six skill sets of the game. Bush’s aptitude for the game of volleyball is tremendous, and her sense and feel of the game allow her to excel. She is the kind of player who needs to touch the ball when a game is close, whether it’s to deliver a perfect tempo set for a putaway or to take the key swing. Bush is a winner with extensive high-level club experience. Her talent lies in her ability to problem solve and use her skills to control the game. Bush is determined, a strong leader and good teammate. She is committed to Northwestern to set, but Bush has such a complete skill set that she could be utilized to great effect in a number of roles. She will see the court early in her career as a Wildcat.
