NOTE: THE REGISTRATION WILL DEFAULT YOUR REGISTRATION TO THE USA AGE DIVISION DEPENDING ON YOUR DATE OF BIRTH.  IF YOU WISH TO PLAY IN A HIGHER AGE DIVISION (OR GRADE LEVEL) PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE DEFAULT AGE DIVISION AND SEND AN EMAIL TO NKYVC@NKYVCVB.COM AND YOUR REGISTRATION WILL BE MOVED TO THE NEW TRYOUT DIVISION.

IF YOU PLAYED CLUB VOLLEYBALL IN THE 2023 SEASON YOUR MEMBERSHIP IS STILL IN EFFECT AND NO FURTHER ACTION IS NECESSARY BY YOU.

IF YOU ARE NEW TO CLUB VOLLEYBALL OR IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CURRENT MEMBERSHIP, PLEASE GO TO THE FOLLOWING LINK AFTER JUNE 15TH AND APPLY FOR A TRYOUT MEMBERSHIP.  DO NOT APPLY FOR A FULL MEMBERSHIP.  THE COST WILL BE $10.  NO REFUNDS FROM USA OR PIONEER REGION.

Welcome to the 2024 Club Volleyball Season!

NKYVC will be hosting informational meetings covering all details for the 2024 season.  This meeting is for interested, new and current families.

SCHEDULED FOR SUNDAY JUNE 25TH:  5:30 PM 
 

LOCATION:  All meetings will be held at our practice facility TC Athletic Center 106 Crossing Drive Wilder KY (DIRECTIONS).

• USA Volleyball Definitions and 7 Levels of Competition:  (Open, National, USA, Liberty, American, Freedom, Patriot)
• Training Format and Player Development Goals
• NKYVC Accomplishments:  Results can be measured...check websites and social media to validate a club accomplishments
• Recruiting Structure, Support and College Placement Successes
• # of Teams at each age division and # of players on a team and why
• Various Greater Cincinnati Team Designations & Terms to be familiar with:  Elite, National, American, Regional, Select, Invite, Travel, Non-Travel
• All associated fees by team and what is covered by the fees
• Coaching Staff and Coaching Qualifications
• 2024 Tentative Team Practice Days/Times
• 2024 Tentative Tournament Schedules
• Pre-Season Tune-Up Clinics Format and What to Expect
• Tryout Format and Selection Criteria (evaluation areas)

• Do your homework before attending tryouts or accepting any offers..if information and answers to questions are not readily available on a club's website then do some digging.
• All players have 48 hours to accept or decline an offer of team placement - no club can require that you accept prior to the 48 hour deadline.

FORMAT:  We utilize a high repetition circuit format so each athlete is provided significant contact with the ball in the evaluated core skills and every athlete is afforded the fairest evaluation possible.  

Each athlete will be evaluated in 3 core areas using a series of drilling: Athleticism/Physicality (measurables), Skill/Volleyball IQ (individual skill and game play drilling), Vocality/Team (coachability and team contribution).

As a result we will place each athlete at the highest possible level for her to be competitive.   Every position for every team that requires a tryout is placed via the tryout process.  NO POSITIONS are offered PRIOR to tryouts unless they are an INVITATION TEAM.
