NKYVC'S 8U - 10U "TRAVEL" TEAMS are a perfect place for your young player.   The best training in the tri-state area and the experience of a club team without the expensive travel.

All teams are formed by tryouts which will be held for 2026 on October 28th (see below).  Number of teams depends on number of tryout players.  We do all that we can to accommodate as many players as possible and still maintain appropriate levels of play.  Tryout does not guarantee a position on a team.  Some players may still need to be placed on a waiting list.

• The teams are trained by experienced Coach Renae Taylor who also runs the Sprinkles and Storm Chasers programs and has researched the best way to introduce and train volleyball for young players.
• All teams also have their own team coach and uniform jersey
• All teams compete in three in house competitions attended by other clubs throughout the area.  Formats are adjusted to provide the best experience for all players and teams.  Some teams also have local tournaments 
• The purchase of a uniform package is required.

What are pre-season Tune ups?

Our Pre-Season Tune Up (PSTU) Clinics familiarize our athletes with drills that will be used in tryouts to ensure they are comfortable and as confident they can be heading into tryouts.

PSTU Clinics are optional but highly encouraged. Preregistration and payment are REQUIRED to hold your athlete's spot & expedite check-in. All athletes will be issued (1) numbered shirt to be worn at all Pre-Season Tune Up Clinics & Tryouts. Replacement shirts are $20 each.

Please Note: Payments are non-refundable. No team positions are offered during these clinics.
